Thank you for this appropriate and interesting list. I was sickened when I googled “things to do in your 20′s” and came across lists that said dating a “dangerous” guy and sleeping around were things to do at this age, so I’m relieved to have found such a great list. I definitely agree with everything you listed especially the “figure out the type of person you want to marry”. At this age I dont think a lot of people are thinking about personality when it comes to finding a great guy or girl. For a while I’ve been feeling like an alien because I’m not the typical 20 something year old and I actually value getting an education and finding a mate who I can have a stimulating conversation with. Anyway, thanks for writing a list I can finally relate to and agree on.

Very cool list. I am 22 and am making pretty good headway some of these things already, and came here looking for stuff to do for my next “101 goals in 1001 days” list (which will be when I’m ~24-27, but there’s no harm in thinking about it now, right?). Some of the stuff I haven’t done yet are things I wouldn’t have really thought of but make a lot of sense. (And, while I’m not sure a $200 hotel stay will go on the list, I’m sure I’ll find time to do squeeze it into my schedule. )

I’m getting ready to enter my 29th year and wanted to make sure I ended my 20′s with no regrets. So, I googled 20 things to do in your 20′s and your blog came up. I didn’t want to feel like I had missed out on anything in my 20′s but as I started reading your blog I realized I’ve done almost everything on the list. So now, I’m going to go back and do some of the stuff again. By the way I got married when I was 22 and we’re going on year 7 Thanks for the great post and I plan on sharing it with my sister who will be turning 20.

Hey., I liked the information you’ve provided.., but can you tell me what to do at the age of 21 .., teenager..,m living in India , really tight on budget.., ., passed graduation this year., I just do not know what to do.. , i feel so bored of myself/ life.., ., dont really know what to do.., Any suggestions/advice., Pls..

I googled what I should be doing with my life and your blog caught my eye. The list is perfect! The Roth IRA one is a little intimidating but so smart! I had something I wanted to add but seem to have forgotten…
Anyway I am proud to say that I have done and am working on many of these, including my first blog!

I was afraid that it might be about getting drunk and “enjoying life”. Needless to say, I was very positively surprised. Btw, I tried to read Bible (an atheist here), I really tried – but at times it was over descriptive and I gave up eventually. I was 16 at the time though, maybe it’s time to try again.
