This is a VERY practical and simple approach to achieving goals in general. I'm a roller of eyes in the same way I am with every holiday, the expectation of it bothers me. Other than that, I love celebrating, writing goals down and getting the family together at any given moment in the year.

Anyway, one comment about accountability. It's very personal. Some people feel TOO pressured if they're accountable, others feel like they've talked about it so they've done it. It's a method that certainly works for some, but not all.

Taking into account step two of creating a balanced spokewheel and keeping it relatively quiet, but meticulously slaving away at it until "going live" is another method. Sometimes what you keep to yourself and work on in the background keeps you motivated on its own. You have something to unveil.
